I've got to just recommend against Behringer in this situation. It sounds like you want some quality stuff. No Peavey, no Behringer.

crowns and qsc amps are good as well

i was assuming that you were a under a budget, being a high-schooler and all

if you have the resources, go with some custom built speakers from http://www.billfitzmaurice.com .. they are leaps and bounds better than anything you can buy, and for less money
i built a subwoofer with those plans, and the performance is amazing, the cost was less than 100 dollars, and it delivers a higher spl than subs in the $1000 dollar range

hey kahn, i put that cart together for ya, as you can see its a fucking lot of money, and i didnt even include any processors, cables, stands, and only 5 mics.. your drummer will need another mic for each drum PLUS a submixer

there are a million ways to get that price down
-jbls are nice, but you dont need speakers that good
-i'll direct you to http://www.billfitzmaurice.com again, if you can, make some dr250's and a tuba24, they will blow ANYTHING else out of the water for way less money
-the mics are more expensive than needed
-cables can be home-made
-and you raelly dont need that good of monitors

my band just bought this and we have a very similiar set up and gigs it sound (one more electric with us and no keys) but it is working fine and seems great for our applications
