No, it's not even you just fucking around anymore, which I can tollerate. It's you posting stupid shit like you did in all of my threads or when you reply to my responses in other threads man. It's just annoying. After having read these boards for over a year I myself have wondered how Fatjack gets away with all that stuff.

My other question would be how rant and filmdude haven't been banned from musicians gear yet? They always give either faulty info or act like their opinions are fact which put newbies in the wrong direction... hah, off topic...

Anyway, Fenders arent bad, but like most famous brands they increase the price just for being famous. Hell, yamaha and fender might share factories for all we know. Fender just charge a little more and get away with it.

Regarding the difference in quality, even if the builder does an exceptional job its still the same model and has to be priced as such. Your friend got really lucky and found a great guitar. Your Fender might be average, might be worse. I think its safe to say that you might benefit from not looking strictly at guitars within a budget when buying your next guitar.

The thing is that some people like to push people's buttons. The internet is a perfect place for someone who is scared they'll get punched in the face in real life to push people's buttons and act tough. Normally, if you just ignore those peoples posts they get over themselves.
