Elixers- They're overpriced and the fuckers take forever to break in. Only good thing about them is the squeak free slides. I've said this all before.

I've played the D'Adarrios before. At first they sounded great, but after a week they went dead. It was nuts how poorly they held up. Trust me, I don't play long or hard enough to kill strings in a week.

Elixers last me a while though. But people are right, they do make every guitar sound the same, and I'm a little less impressed with the meds than I was with the lights, but they still are great for easy slides!
