just get a Line-6 DL4.. like the ones howie day uses (one for vocals, one for guitar)

I have one and its really easy to use. It wasn't too hard to do the timing either - i can loop DMB satellite first time every time.. only took a few hours to do so. Its well worth the money, just my 2 cents

just so you know boomerangs are pretty good and very easy to get the hang of it i was at my uncles house jamming and got the hang of it within like 5 minutes very easy and simple
