i own a 20 year old yamaha fg-200 that sounds better than any martin or taylor i've played..............maybe there is alot of strange coincidence with that but i still feel it's the best (full tone&action) i've played. so i say any guitar (despite it's brand) is worth it if it sounds great. don't let popular opinion change what you think, pick a guitar that fits you.

i'm not the only one i know that has said that about my yamaha, my friend's own much more expensive guitars that don't compare and they admit it. fluke? maybe, but who the hell cares?

the ONLY Taylor you like, so youd rather have a 114 over say a 914?

Eh..the 114 sounds like poopie in my opinion. You're paying more for the name than the sound
