actually....no. I just work at a hockey store. We work on commission with a back up pay of $7 and hour. I am a good sales man. plus I mow a shit load of lawns. To tell the truth, I dont spend any of my money on things other then music. Well food somtimes. long drive where I go play.

I've only been playing for about 4 months. My acoustic is a Fender DG-25. And I just got a Squier Strat Affinity for like 120 bucks. I wish I could afford a Martin or Taylor but I'm a poor college student.

don't buy some expensive-as-hell guitar until you get good. what if you end up not wanting to play guitar? Even if you sell it, you still aren't getting all your money that you spent back on it. Just play what you got...I have a DG-10, and Epi Chet (which is heavily modified). You can also get great guitars for a cheap price...just have to know the brands. :D Good luck.

yeah , i went to my local store (guitar emporium) and they are a big taylor dealer and have a lot of taylor trade ins, Some guy was in the store trading in this guitar to buy a 914 and as soon as he left, i asked what they wanted for me to take it off there hands. they said 2100, i told them id give them 1800 if they through in a couple sets of strings, a new capo, and a new strap. They obliged and i got it! i was so happy.
