So I got an M-Audio fast track pro and am trying to use it with Cool Edit Pro.
Do any of you know if Cool Edit is ASIO compliant?
If it is, why can't i get this thing to work?
Thanks

Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?

I have an M-Audio Firewire Solo (im pretty sure that its a usb interface) and I use with cool edit with no problems. Well actually, sometimes when I record it will lag so that I cant do more than one track without it sounding off, but to fix it I just either turn it off for a while or change the speaker output...I'm not sure why that works, but sometimes it does.
