Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": As long as there's, you know, sex and drugs, I can do without the rock and roll.

The Fender is only 15 watts, but fender makes really loud amps. And yes you will be able to play with a drummer.

An overdrive pedal gives the sound of an overdriven amp. Its a crunchy distorted sound without sounding metal.

On that blues Jr, if you turn the volume all the way up but keep the master switch at around 2, you will have a wonderfully distorted/overdriven sound.

This amp is so good, many musicians gig with it in even large venues. I saw Gob Iron which is Jay Farrar from Son Volt and Andres Parker from Varnaline at a venue here called the Fox. It seats about 700 people and they were using that amp, of course it was also miked through the PA system but it still sounded great.

Its right at home in the studio too.

Save the money, do your SG justice and get a good amp. Stay away from Line 6.
Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?
