I am very good at maintaining a straight neck.. If it goes out of wack I am very good at straigtening it out..

don't think its the frets...sometimes they buzz sometimes not... do i want the neck perfectly flat?

i dont think it should be curved, i dont know why... i guess that would throw off intonation, unless guitars are made to have a little bit of a curve

i dunno... i just assumed it should be striaght

It needs to have a slight concave, not very noticable though.. if you want it to bend, it has to be slightly and more towards the headstock side, so that it doesn't make the frets buzz..

yeah straight to slightly concave is fine.

intonation will be affected but by maybe 3 cents at most by going from straight to maybe a 1/8 turn on the truss rod.

it's like string guage or pick thickness, their is a lot of grey area in what people like but there are limits. like 15's will break your guitar and 8's would be an intonation nightmare, but there's planty of room to move around in their. such is the relative straighness of the neck
