So the 16 series would be a step up from the D15 right?

and as for the size whats really the diffrence in the sound, u said the 000 shape is less deep and lowder, whats best for just acoustic stuff kinda like the D&T thing?

i mostly play dave's stuff which is like 90% of the times strumed, and john mayer's stuff which are mostly finger picked.

I've 2 Dreads, so I'm biased...

The dread will have a fuller sound. If you go for the rosewood, it will be bassier (like timmy's).

000 is also cool, and easier to play standing on stage.

The best would be to have one of each... :)

I am personally partial to the 000 shape. the 00016GT is a damn good guitar.

Martin D15
Martin D-15 Custom Spruce and Mahogany
Martin DM Dreadnought
Martin OOO15

Oh and "COR" thats gr8 man but the thing is There`s Arabic Arabic then there is Egyptian arabic and in ur GF case it jordanian arabic etc.
Its kinda like when you hear ppl in certain places in the UK speaking english and you dont get a word, arabic is like that only 99999999999 times bigger.
so like for "hi" u can say: hala, ahlan, marhaba, ezaiak etc
oh, I see. That's cool. She taught me "Marhaba, ana issme Cory". Or something close to that..I don't know how it's spelled.

Arabian must be amazing... :p

RaSh,

Info on the Sappele D15 is here:

http://www.mguitar.com/guitars/choosing ... =5&m=D-15S

The price announced by Martin is $300 more than the original D15, so the retail price should be around +$300 more.

I didn't have time to check in any store website...

I think that the D15 is a wise choice, i read the reviews on harmonycentral, and everybody`s sayn good things about it.

if some how i managed to get more money before my friends go to the US, i think im gonna go with "sfmartins"'s advice, and get the D16GT or even the D16RGT.

But if im goin with the D15 im gonna go for the mahogany top coz i just love the was it looks, its diffrent.
The maghogany may have low velocity of sound, but everybody say it sounds great.

Oh and Arabic is amazing and beautiful, but its really hard, and if its not your first lang. you`re gonna have the hardest time learning it, but its worth it.[/img]
