I ordered mine without even playing it or hearing it. I played a fusion series and fell in love with alvarez.

If you listen to fatjacks old recordings here you'll hear it is a great guitar. I met a kid in portugal who was traveling with his ad60sc (a beater to him, he just bought it to travel) and this thing sounded like a dream in his hands.

Meine, what model did you get?

well damn your getting me excited lol maybe ill just order one tonight!
where did you order it from??
to excite you even more, i've played that same guitar w/out the cutaway and it was spectacular.. great feeling guitar. Sounds excellent too. I've got an Alvarez myself.. I couldn't refer a better line of guitars for the price.
yeah, I almost bought the rd8, but threw in an extra $150, and it was damn worth it. the head stock is so gorgeous on the ad60, and just sound and quality its a huge jump for such little money.

im my experience in that price range the sound isnt gonna vary barely at all beause youre not into the solid wood range yet, so get something that plays the way you like.

as a matter of personal opinion i think fender and ibanez should stop making acoustics because they are tainting the fair and pure acoustic name with their shitty pieces or economy name brand billy jack bullshit. thats just an opinion tho.

you should look at alvarez, seagull, and i would def suggest washburn. their econ models are my favorites for your price range, and they is pwetty

that means a lot, when a guitar feels right in your hands, that can make all the difference. good luck with that.
