cd --> mp3 player ?

Ok I think this is the right forum for this and i tried to do a search that was fruitless.

What is the best way to take all my cds and put them on my mp3 player? I tried using iTunes but it puts them in some format that my converter (dB AMP Music Converter) does not recgonise.

go to -->edit-->preferencess-->advanced-->import using

then select MP3 Encoder

I borrowed some cd from a friend awhile ago so they got converted the other way. Is there a way that i can make those other cd's into mp3 format using iTunes?

right click --> Convert Selection to MP3
