Folk/ Jumbo Guitars

Unread post by castellar » Sun Nov 27, 2005 10:26 am

Looking for a folk guitar or a jumbo guitar, did a search and didnt come up with much. Came across Carlo Robelli jumbo around $300, (exact model is j4418) but i never heard or saw any of these in a store that i could play. Also found an alvarez online and am going to play it today at a local shop. Curious if anyone has heard of carlo robelli guitars or has any suggestions in the 200 to $400 dollar range for a folk or jumbo guitar.
The local shops around where i live in PA only carry like takamines and usuall all G-series with no folks or like Godin and Fender guitars so i dont really have a huge selection other than online. So any postive feedback on some folks and jumbo in that range would be great.

Nope, though I wish I had. I passed. Got an Ibanez hollowbody electric instead.

It's worth going to your local guitarmegaland and playing one. I think you'd be really surprised.
