that's just plain ridiculous. It's a little much don't you think? hans put up a really nice Martin awhile back that was nicer than both of those. I'll have to find it.

See, that's just stupid. I'd much rather buy a house and a couple guitars that I'll actually play than spend 350,000 on a museum piece. Same goes for the D50. If you want a Martin, just give me a nice brazilian back, englemann top, and the cash difference between the two guitars to go out and get a few other axes. I could care less about inlays. I think most are just horribly gaudy, and they do absolutely nothing for the sound. I want a guitar to play, not to look at.
Ken, here's the link for that Martin.

I don't know which I want more: that guitar, one of the Godin 3 voice electrics (electric/acoustic/synth) or a northwood 80MJ. I'm leaning towards the Godin, but that would be a HUGE investment, as I'd need a solid electric amp and a good synth too.

and you posted the same thing twice again, there's this thing called edit if you want to add something, it's really annoying to see you make so many unnecessary posts...
and on the topic at hand, I agree with hans...and yes, that guitar is $350,000...
