just keep A-Bing them until you decide...one cool trick I used to buy my 714 versus the 914 was that I had a buddy of mine (similar guitarist) played them for me with my back turned toward him...when he played both guitars, the 714 rocked it, being louder and warmer than the 914, turned out, in my case, that the $1200 more in visual appointments on the 914 wasn't worth it...

then used the other $1200 toward an HD-28...
best damn advice i've heard on these boards in a long time. matter of fact, if/when i ever go to get another guitar, i'm doing that. :thumbsup: for that guy
