300-400$ need an electric. blues rock genre. recommendation?

You really should get a Fender MIM strat and then save up to get a blues junior amp. That is all eric clapton needs.

I have had 3 mexican strats and 2 american strats and I swear to you the mim's play just as good as an american. Just get it set up right, its not hard and you can do it yourself. You can get a used mexi strat in the 200-250 range and it will be a guitar you can use for a lifetime.

And yeah someone else said something about an older squier..... those are good; the squiers made in japan, korea, and mexico. Stay away from chinese and indoneseans if possible.

Hell, ive played my friends 80's made in japan squier strat and it beats the shit out of my 90's american strat. Also, my Squier tele mim mid 90's is damn near par with my '52 reissue tele.

Older is better...................

and dont forget, get a fender blues junior amp when you can

thanks guys. I got my brother a Schecter Diamond Series. It's awesome. 400$ and worth it. it can play any style.
