I need to take my backpacker in for service if so... it has developed a little crack down its front side.

:? should've gotten a Larrivee. If I get in a car wreck, and my guitar is in my car and it gets damaged they replace it. There customer service is out of this world. And its the greatest guitar Ive ever played.

I do own one! But its not the broken one :)

I'm not too distressed, it was probably my fault anyway. This backpacker has literally been around the world. It has been to half the national parks in the US. Its been a workhorse for getting crushed, in wierd environments, smoked, burned, and yet its still plays. Not the greatest sound, but it sounds like it did when I first got it, and nothing is better after 20 miles of hiking than sitting around the campfire with a little guitar for some unwinding :)

If the crack gets worse I'll get a new one.... it was only $100.
