Yup that was me...Dont regret it at all. If you need any info on it, just send me a PM.erikro wrote:I played the t5 a little yesterday. It is a beautiful guitar. I didnt plug it in though. Still has some decent volume unplugged. I still have not played the chet. Still havent even seen one in person yet. No one has one. Even music123 doesnt have one in stock. By the was music123 has them listed for $1549 but if you call them they say they are selling them for $1398. I think I will get the chet when they come in. My situation is that I want a quiet guitar to play at night when my son is sleeping. During the day doesnt matter. I think the t5 unplugged is still too loud for what I want. I think the chet will be better for me in that respect. I still want a nice acoustic sound. If the chet doesnt sound the way I want it the Fishman company is a couple of towns over. I read in another post of someone sending their chet there and getting it setup like Daves.

the thing with the chet is that it is crappy compared to other acoustics for that price and the only reason people want it and get it is because of dave. The reason dave used it is because he put tons of extra money into to make it sound/play better. Before you make any decisions about getting one or the t5 i would play both, then play a nice acoustic for that price and see what you like better

It's not an "acoustic guitar". It's designed for playing live, with a band, with no feedback. That's just about it.pman13a wrote:the thing with the chet is that it is crappy compared to other acoustics for that price and the only reason people want it and get it is because of dave.
