Lots and lots and lots of gorgeous, very expensive equipment. Also, a very cheap (and VERY effective!) Kaman Feedback Buster.

Grate was saying earlier if you're prone to feedback, use Natural II. My guitar doesn't have a preamp and i dont think i am going to put one in, by using a Natural II, will it get rid of some feedback? Or what did he mean use Nat II if you are prone to feedback?GrateDMB21 wrote:...If your instrument is at all prone to feedback, you may want to check out the Natural II.
Thanks

Yes...Natural II (or Gold Plus Maximum) will get rid of some feedback. The pickup/preamp is designed for larger "boomy" guitars, such as a Martin Dread or a Taylor. Pickup all depends on the guitar you're playing and the audience you'll be performing infront of. Say you have a 000-size Martin you may want to go with the Natural I pickup, due to its size. Also, are you mainly going to stick with solo/dual gigs or an entire band? Natural II is designed to prevent the feedback from the larger braced guitars such as the Martin Dreadnaughts (28s etc..) and allow the performer to have much more clarity and be able to cut through the bands sound. I recommended the Natural I pickup due to the Taylor 200 series size.little ants734 wrote:Grate was saying earlier if you're prone to feedback, use Natural II. I'd say stick with the Natural II and with a Narrow format. Talk to this guy....www.maurysmusic.comlittle ants734 wrote:Thanks man, I aprepiate the feed back, no pun intended ahha. I have a Martin DX-1, what do you suggest for a pick, Nat I, Nat II..? Thanks
I just got my pickup from him today for my Martin D-41 Special. I ordered a Natural II w/ narrow format from Maury. Great guy! Theres no tax and for an extra $2 it will be shipped to your house 1-3 business days. I think I'm fed up with Guitar Centers and the Sam Ashs' lately.

Thanks man, I was leaning towards the Gold Plus Natural II.. this is the one you are suggesting right? Or the Matrix Nat II? I was just a little confused, I was reading the Matrix and it says it has an excellent resistence to feedback so I didnt know which one you were suggesting. I agree with you on Guitar Center, i am tired of them to as well. I will be sure to look at the site you gave me and hopefully order one off it. What is the narrow format you are talking about, is that the plug size? And i want need a preamp or anything like that, if i still have feed back.. i could still use a feedback buster than right?
Thanks man, sorry about all the questions, I am just trying to find out as much as i can before i make my choice.. I really apreciate it though man.
On the site i couldnt find GoldPlus Naturall II, only a Natural I.. do i have to e-mail him?

Gold Plus Natural II is called Gold Plus Maximum and its no different than Fishman Natural Acoustic Matrix II pickup. You want a narrow format because thats how the Martin bridge is designed. Just send Maury an email saying you want a Fishman Acoustic Matrix II for your Martin and he'll take care of you from there.little ants734 wrote:Thanks man, I was leaning towards the Gold Plus Natural II.. this is the one you are suggesting right?
