anyone use an LR Baggs PaDI?
i have the chance to buy one for $75... and im switching spots in my band in august (due to 3 people leaving for college), so ill definately need a preamp.... anyone have opinions?

well, the main reason i need it is for the volume boost that it provides. i have a low output piezo on my Godin, and the boost is needed. also, it could also use some post-guitar mixing other than the mixing board, so i can get it to what i want it to sound like as opposed to what the mixer (not pro.. enough said) wants it to sound like.
you can also push down frequencies that are hot and causin feedback, etc etc etc... very useful

oh dont be a bitch. a preamp cannot do anything that an amp and a eq pedal can.
