I have to eat my words. I finally bought another Takamine http://www.takamine.com/?fa=detail&mid=889&sid=69

The action and crisp sound drew me in. I love it.

everything about guitars is opinon when it comes down to it. you can play a shallow body pink dyed fender acoustic made entirely of composite with 3 inch action and elixirs, if you like it more power to ya

It listed for $549 but the list price is never right at a Guitar Center. I paid $360 with tax.

The list price is the MSRP from the company that makes the guitar. You can expect to get 30-40% off the list price from about any store, especially larger retailers such as GC.

The MSRP was like six hundred and something, they had a tag on it for $549 being a 'sale.' After you play for about 45 minutes the salesmen will always come over and be like 'let me see what kind of deal I can work up,'
