Overdrive or Distortion

Unread post by Appfro » Wed May 04, 2005 1:59 pm

Which one? I know it kind of matters what sound you're looking for. I want good clean distortion to play around w/ when playing along w/ other songs now that I have an electric, but I can't see myself ever writing a song w/ straight up distortion plus you can use overdrive w/ an acoustic. So I'm stuck. Plus I don't know a lot about either.

Distortion distorts everything, but with practice you can make it so that your overdrive will only distort what you want it to. I vote overdrive.

Go buy a Boss Blues Driver 2.
