smooth guitar strings
smooth guitar strings
any way to make ur strings smoother.. when i slide on the fret, it seems really sticky and like too much friction.. i'm too lazy and too poor to change the strings.. would like pledge work or something??

i wish they made flatwounds for guitars.... yeah, some good lube on your shaft and calluses on your hand are the best way to improve your performance

HUH? I put on gibson flatwounds on my archtop all the time. I tried the Dean Markley flatwounds for it, but just weren't that great, the only dean strings I don't like. i know you said you dont' buy a lot of strings. but next time get coated, i recommend ELIXER strings.

I disagree. I dont like them much. For one they are extremely expensive, and the coating gets weird after a while, or at least it does for me. I like Martin 80/20 medium with some string lubricant. elixers fucking rock. if you wipe them after you play they will last forever.
