jesus christ jayme you pimp those elixirs out for treefitty
have you seen those verizon commercials where they some lady takes a guys seat because he wasnt using it?

seriously though, two of the same guitars side by side with each strings, elixirs made it sound like a much better guitar.

Hate D'addarios, hate EXP, hate Elixers.

Just pick up a pacl of DR strings or Dean Markley, either for acoustic or electric or classical or mandolin.

I used Elixir's for about 2 years. Then they had a deal where you could buy a pack of EXP's and get another set for free. So I gave them a shot and I really think they are nice. Yea they dont last as long as Elixir's but they do have a nice tone for a few weeks. Also EXP's are about 7$ cheaper, and that is one of the main reasons that i may use them in the future.

D'addarios for my acoustics and I just put some Ernie Ball .11's on my fender and love it.

I'm a d'addario fan myself. However for the pronounciation, when I've heard artists speaking about them they pronounce it duh-dar-e-oh..i personally always say dee-uh-dar-e-oh. I don't think it really matters that much. If the people you are talking to about it even have a clue, they will know what you mean regardless of the syllabic and long/short sounding variation.
