Fender Blues Junior is the best deal on new practice/small gig amps right now....just make sure you buy a better speaker than the stock one it comes with. Get a low or middle end celestion and slap it into a blues jr and the thing really comes to life.

I was playing my friends fender deluxe this weekend, and I really want a tube amp again, so i'm seriously relooking into the blues junior, but it's just a lot more than I want to spend on a practice amp.

On an unrelated note since this is my thread i feel I can do it :D does anyone know how much it would cost to replace pickups? I mean just for the labor. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": I'm thinking about getting metal legs. It's a risky operation, but it'll be worth it.
