My first all solid wood guitar! Kodak moment. I'm very pleased as I worked it down some more to 700 even. (Just arch the back and show a little skin. HA!) I gotta say, so far, its worth every penny. Its not my Martin HD35, but that will come someday. You know, when I have an income.

Now all I have to do is wear out these pieces of crap elixrs and put in some strings meant for a man, my medium D'addarios. Then we'll see the tone light up! :D

or you could just take the elixirs off before you break a string.......... don't want to get to used to those girlie strings.

Did I mention I play elixirs and do not consider myself feminine?

I've got a Larrivee DV-09. I've had it for about 4 years now. Got it a Guitar Center for $1000. Never thought I would spend that much on a guitar but I've never regreted it. I switch strings on it after I bought it but it didn't sound the same and I switched back to the Elixars. Anyway, have fun. It is an awesome guitar and IMO ranks right up there with Taylor and Martin.

I'm guessing this guy doesn't play elixirs: http://www.jaycutler.com
My god, does anyone here have any desire do look anything like that? With your arms sticking out like that how do you reach around to wipe after going number two? Well, I guess by commanding the person in the adjacent stall to do it for you. Check out his bio, its hilarious. Alot of short sentences with monosyllabic words. " I was extremely popular in high school." The nerve! I oughta throw him a beating.

Seriously though, the elixirs are starting to grow on me. Maybe I'll be a convert.

lol.............. I know short and sweet is good sometimes but I prefer to combine short medium and long sentances.
