New Electric

Unread post by Mjazk26 » Sun Apr 24, 2005 5:26 pm

I need some opinions on this....

I am looking to getting my first electric. I have been playing for about 8 years on acoustic and fooled around occasionally on my friend’s electrics. I want to get something decent because I really have no intentions of buying another electric after this. I was looking at PRS's and Quicksilvers but now that the new Taylor T5 is out I'm not sure.

I don't know much about the T5's. I have read a good bit and played quicksilvers and PRS's. Those two are what most of my friends play. I guess Ill just have to wait until they hit the stores.

Be sure to think it through before you buy a really expensive electric guitar, because you will probably want a really nice amp and a few pedals right away, so don't spend all of your savings on just the guitar. Your setup is almost as important as the actual guitar.
