Cause I may have to sell some imported Thai kids for it ;) I know its been mentioned 10000 times already, but it truly is amazing. Have there been any speculations as to price?

Roughly 4-5k. I dont know an exact retail price though.

i think those pictures are misleading. The cherry red is the maple top. The standard comes in "tobacco burst". The maple looks fucking sweet.

Does anyone know what day these go on sale? Also does the T5 use electric strings or acoustic strings? I am fairly surprised the price tag is only around $2,000

You can use either. It comes with electric elixirs on it, but acoustic strings come in the box as well. I'd imagine they give you different sounds so you'd need to experiment.
