Installing a Pickup
Installing a Pickup
I have a seagull artist studio and want to have a pickup installed... i do mostly small intimate settings. Im probably going with a fishman but any advice on a model or another brand would be great. thanks.
p.s. im a broke college student so bang for my buck is key

They sit under the bridge or saddle (the white thing at the bottom), and they are easy to take out, but you have to break the circuit that is soldered when the pickup is installed. Also, you will need a larger than normal strap button to go into the hole that the endpin jack leaves (it is around 1/2 inch).little ants734 wrote:where does the natural I and II sit, and an you take them out and use them in a new guitar if you get a new one?
I called Fishman about them, and the main tech guy said that a one time move is ok, but the piezo material gets unstable if you continually move the system.
