I'm not sure, because I don't know what the humidity is like there. The best way to figure that out is to buy a hygrometer that measures the humidity. I can't think of the figure right now, but there is a humidity range that you should try to keep it in. I'm sure it's on the boards here somewhere, or a quick Internet search should tell you.
If you don't want to go through all that, I would say pick a day during the week and check it. You could probably fill it up once a week, depending on how often you play it.
BTW, another sweet song to play is Wonderwall. Capo the 2nd fret. It sounds AWESOME solo. Another twist is Don't Drink the Water. I was at the June 19th, 2000 show in Columbus and it was the first and only time Dave played DDTW with a 12er. Fattens it up a little bit. Oh, and don't forget about Spoon......

Well, it's just basically a sponge in there. Just holding it you should be able to feel how heavy it is. If it's dry, it'll obviously be lighter than if there is water in there. You know there is too much water in the humidifier if it's leaking out of the holes. I think as long as you put a syringe or two in the humidifier, it'll probably be ok. You don't want to drown it and the guitar is not going to shrivel up if there's not a certain amount in there. The fact that you are even using a humidifier at all is more care than about 90% of guitars out there get.
