i was wondering what is the best tuner to get for a acoustic guitar? i want to get the Qwick tune Qt1 but just wanted to get some peoples thoughts.

i used a tuning fork at the guitar store the other day and it was great. it's only like $4 too. but, it only tunes the E string. i like that better anyway, but i guess it's a preference.

i usr the boss tu-2 it's a foot pedal that goies into youreffects chain....i like it cuz i can jsut hit it and it cuts the feed so i can tunes with everyone hearing it through the PA.

Yea you can do it that way to prevent the audience hearing it, or use a volume pedal.

yes...i do have one of thsoe as well...but for those that don't it's a nice feature...

Cough up the extra 10 bucks for a chromatic tuner. It will make alternate tunings a helluva lot easier to manage.

apparently I have the fender lx12 (first time I ever looked at the tuner really).......... anything works.... chromatic allows for tuning any instrument and alternate guitar tunings but anything expensive is probably just nicer looking and more sturdy. The really cheap one will probably break in a week, the next level up may last forever.
