Can you tune the E to G.....
without it snapping?
somebody came up with a tab for J. Johnson's "The Cove" and he has it with a G bass note through the whole thing.
the tab actually says to do it, but i dunno. and i don't wanna test it.
anybody ever tried it? i've never gone more than a half step.

absolutely you can. you can tune it up to a B with out it snapping

not necessarily. i know filmdude has a 2nd guitar thats always in raised bfenster1977 wrote:whoa, whoa whoa....
don't you use the A string from a set of ex lights in place of the low E when you tune to Raised B?
