Guitars For Sale

Unread post by ec_costanzo » Tue Jul 15, 2003 1:06 pm

I am selling another guitar. I am selling all of my guitars but 1 because I desperatly need money for an electric drumset. Here the guitars are.

The JG-650 JOHNSON THINBODY ACOUSTIC/ELECTRIC
It is easy to play and comes with a built-in pickup. The super-thin body makes this guitar comfortable to play sitting or standing. It is built with nato back and sides to give you a great, full bodied sound, while maintaining it's smaller profile.
This guitar cost $129.50 I am selling it for $100
The guitar has a sticker on it at the top. It looks really good thought with the mixing colors. Here it is http://www.dmband.com/sights/sights_main.asp?album=12

The SQUIRE BULLETT
All the info is on the other thread but I though I will just post it here also.
Squire Bullet w/ Case
Original Price: $100 Without Case
$120 With Case
My Price: $100 With Case
Color: Blue and White
Condition: Perfect
Usage: 2 Hours

The last guitar:

I have no clue how much this guitar is at all.
All I can go buy is what people have paid for it on the review site.
Someone said he paid $190 used. This guitar have a Dean Marley sticker on the upper body. It also has a little hole on the top. This hole is not noticable if you are playing to an audience. So I would sell this for $90-$100. Here are some reviews. Solid spruce top, with a satin finish, Mahogany neck with chrome Hardware... Rosewood Bridge and Fretboard.
Dreadnought size. The top is NOT plywood as a previous reviewer noted. I've looked carefully, and the wood showing on the guitar back and sides is mahogany, and woodgrain on the outside of the guitar (back and sides) looks like mahogany also (and matches the neck). This is a nice sounding guitar with lots of resonance harmonics. It has suited my needs well for playing with and without a pick. I've been playing some country and some folk songs. Plus I've been praticing some lead guitar type things. I bought mine new and did find one minor flaw at the head nut an on one of the frets that I can't reach (or play) close to the sound hole.
I use "light" strings with out any buzzing etc. I did try "medium" strings on it... But switched back to "light" stings since my fingers hurt all the time with the heavy strings.
I've had my guitar for 10 years. It still looks like new. Neck is straight, and hasn't twisted or cupped. I've pretty much always left some string tension on it even when it sat without being played for months at a time. I do keep it in my basement where it is about 50-60% humidity year around. I have to run a dehumidifier in my basement during the summer.
Warranty was a standard 5 years. Never had to deal with the company.
I selected this guitar to purchase because it sounded better than some other guitars I tried that were similarly priced... and even better than some that I tried that were more expensive. The only guitars I liked better sound wise were the M-series Seagull's. But they were much more expensive than what I had budgeted.
I had a friend that had been playing guitar for 20+ years help (he is partial to Martin's)

I am sure everyone is confused about the information on the Alverez but I will post pictures shortly.
Thanks for looking and anyone interest.
