Kysers are cheap capos. They work, but they do cause more wear.

a) Why did you even mention this if you did not buy it because he did
b) Who..fucking..cares.

For the record, I use a Kyser because I'm not capoed a lot and frankly don't care enough to pay more for a Shubb, but please don't spout stuff if you don't know what you're talking about.

Shubbs are unsightly at the least.

Go for the Kyser. They're cheaper, easy to use and they park on the headstock.

Just remember, ANY foreign substance on your guitar, any capo, any strap, etc. may cause damage or remove finish, leave rubber marks, etc.

A capo is a capo. I have a Kyser and it's fine. The intonation is fine when I'm capoed, and I capo for 75% of my original tunes.

I would not recommend leaving the capo on the guitar while you aren't playing it, in reference to the finish problems, etc...

I have had 5 capos over the last 4 years, 3 of those broke. The kyser I had fell apart in my hand in less than a year, and it was the worst one for intonation.

The shubb is great and still works, but takes a little time to put on, so I looked for another.

I found that the dunlop trigger capo works best. It's design is similar to kyser, but applies a little less presure(intonation is perfect) and seems to be built better.

The Dunlop Triggers are great. I had one and it was stolen at a gig. I still have not replaced it but I will soon. I maintain that I have no problems with Kyser.

Kysers are crap.

Go for a shubb. You can adjust the pressure and despite what other people are saying it is just as easy and as fast to put on and take off as the kysers are.

But whatever you do DO NOT get one that goes around neck. They may be cheap but in this situation you get what you pay for. They fall apart way to easy.
