top ones are what you see... $570 is too much, ive seen it for $499 on the net, but if it has a case hmmm where you lookin at? umm try to talk him down, go in 3 or 4 times and ask him to lower it each time, eventually he will cause he either knows youll buy it, or are tired of you comming in and they know thats the way to get you out lol... just try.

actually, i said there wasn't a case included. and you're right, i just found it on the net for $499...and that's with a case.

i need to make sure that's the one i picked up and see if i can get that guy to match it. 8)

what else can you tell me about this once by reading the specs? there's no laminate here, huh?

i just got back from another store, where the guy wants to give me an "almost perfect" MD80 for $415

tempting...but i like the darker color of the 65. but the retail on the 80 is about $750.

any suggestions on this? he said it's "almost perfect" because of blemishes...but i coudn't see them. but sure enough, it's stamped to that effect inside the soudhole.

is there a case? it retails for $540 and its all solid wood. i think it looks fine, but i mean if you like the looks of the other better and its important thats fine. i personally dont care about looks (to an extent) thats why i have an acoustic with red back and sides, with a sunburst flame top in the living room... im comfortable with my sexuality to play infront of the ladies with it :)

If it it makes you feel better, I bought a "blemished" larrivee. Compared to the dings and shit I've put in it the original blemish isn't anything. I wouldn't have even know had the store not told me. As long as the only problem is cosmetic and you like how the guitar sounds then I'd say go for it.

it's a wierd situation, because i actually like the 65 better, and it's a cheaper guitar. but the 65 that the first store has is perfect, and so it costs more than the "almost perfect" 80s that the second store has. (there's actually 3 of them, the worst one has two very visible scuffs on the top and yet, they want the most for that one, because it's not stamped "almost perfect" like the other two. clearly the scuff happened in the shop.)

anyway, I wish the 65 at the first store was stamped as well, they would probably let it go for <$400.

oh yeah, no case with the 80, he wants to sell me one for $89. i can find one cheaper elsewhere, eh?

i think i'm gonna go back to the first place tomorrow and see what's what.
