i found lefty heaven

alright, i made a quick trip to houston yesterday and went to southpaw guitars. i almost pissed myself. i was finally able to play the big boy guitars taht you guys talk about. like if i go to a regular store, i can maybe play one guitar that is crappy but here, i played whatever i wanted cuz it was all lefty my friends. i dont wanna start the whole martin taylor thing cuz i played them all TWICE but ill just say that in a perfect world their would be one of each in my living room. ahh. im still feeling that natural high. i was there for almost 3 hours! i played an awesome larivee and a sweet little dean that really impressed the crap outta me. 12 strings out the wazoo. i also plugged in and jammed out through an amp. ive never done that before so it was quite an experience. the guy came over to me when i first tried it and was like "thats an acoustic guitar and thats not an acoustic amp"--whoops, virgin mistake. my bro and i went to a jam room for a bit and i just enjoyed myself for who knows how long w/ a D35. ahhhh. i even played a chet. i know most of you have done all this before but ive only looked, never touched so this was really a big deal. it was spectacular. damn.

sorry, but i just had to share. phew. 8)
