my Art&Lutherie annoys me, but it has great sound and everyone here seems to reccomend them...mine was more than $200, but i'm sure they make some for that price.

can't you just slip a D-15 under your jacket in the store?

i wouldnt want the one they had there... it was in horrible condition.... i went to the sam ash website and the only crap less than $200 is carlo robellis and the crappy martin backpacker (which isnt gonna happen). theres a local store which i might be able to do.... they have a bunch of guitars that they dont have at sam ash.... most suck though. it has seagulls but i dont want one.... ill have to see what they have tomorrow.

Bottom of the line Deans are still pretty great guitars.....least if you ask me.....they may be a little over $200 though now that I think about it.

Taks are alright...I personally hate Deans...

I would go with an Alverez or a Fender...my dad owned a decent Ibanez (believe me...) acoustic for real cheap and it had nice tone...I wouldn't force myself to get a cheap guitar for a freakin trip though :? get your friend to bring both...or take the Hofner, but just remember to drop the stings down (tune) for the flight

hold off and get a 110 :)
