Unread post by filmdude100cms » Wed Nov 24, 2004 3:12 pm

i need one, im lookin at a breedlove, but i want some more names of brands like them... kinda small brand, more of a luthier feel to them... as far as price goes, anything under $1000, the breedlove im gettin lists there, im gettin it for around $600 though, and can find most things that cost $1000 in that range...

please dont say "just save up and get a taylor" my current guitar is going downhill fast, and i need to get somethin soon, and soonest i could have a taylor is next november... this gutiar wont last that long...

why not just pay $200 for an alvarez and save the rest for a better guitar?

I suggest you just save like a mfkr. Don't skimp if you want a seriously high quality guitar.

i agree, i mean if my allowance was higher, (5 bux a week isnt great) if i had a job, wich i wont have one paying enough until summer, annnnd well, id love to get like a 714ce, or a niice martin, or a gibson chet... but i just dont have the time, i mean my guitar might MIGHT last until around summer but umm, i dont see that happening...

You might consider giving Larrivee a look, their 03 series will come in well under 1000 clams.

I agree, the larrivee 03 series are good guitars but be careful to play several of the model you want. they vary in sound a good bit. Also, tacoma makes a great guitar and they may still have some around but you would have to look fast. tacoma was bought out by fender and guild is moving into their plant so there will be no more tacomas being made.

and ill check the larivee, the place here thats sells the breedlove, has two companys on one wall, breedlove and larivee, and they like me, and give me kick ass prices.
