Unread post by juineaux » Thu Nov 11, 2004 11:49 pm

I'm almost done with my first guitar building project(putting laquer on this weekend), and I must admit that I am addicted. I'm starting to think of what I want to build next, help me decide-

I think 12-string for sure. I voted for it because it sounded the coolest, but I don't know how much harder it is then the rest of them.

00 12 fret with a slotted peghead. Perfect to have sitting around in a living room to be played by everyone who walks in. plus they are classic and every builder should build one

well the twelver is the hardest because I need to make my own neck(and neck design) from scratch(I can buy a neck that is roughly carved for the other ones), and I need to think of a stronger bracing system(not many 12 string plans out there).

But I did play an amazing 12 string tonight, and I really wish it was mine, so mabey I will try for it.
