that's the exact one i was thinking of. 3 piece back...it really looked good. and i still like the inlays better than the 800 series. i really love the brighter sound too, but the more i compared them, the more i noticed the lack of bass.

The new expression system makes up for some of the bass...the new X-bracing is supposta bring the MARTIN LOW END to the Taylors :)

you didn't answer me...wha else is on it???

Electronics...Cutaway...what year???

yes it isa cutaway. if it's coming from the factory is there any way it would not bea 2003? i requested the old fishman system instead of the ES, because i heard a lot of stories about them not working...the guy told me 3 of the last 5 814's he sold had to be returned. i'm glad yours works though, it sounds nice. i tried out the fishman on a 714 and a 614 at the store, and it sounded amazing i thought. i just wanted to make sure, because my roommate has a fishman on his 310, and it sounds kindof....i don't know, it lacks the percussive sound of the pic...but the blender sounds way better...so i am satisfied and i can't wait.

as an added bonus i can restring my old guitar in raised B

lol...i'd be afraid to. if they stuck a big "this guitar's name is Sally" sticker on it i'd be afraid to take that off too... just buy a 914 ;)

well fire i just got back from guitar center. i've been doing a lot of reading and i decided i wouldn't be happy with the fishman pickup...so now i will be getting the 815ce w/ ES/ :) they didn't give me any trouble at all, just canceled the old order and sent in a new one. though i still do have to wait for it to come...apparently there is a scarcity of 814's right now...

speaking of jumbos though, i am absolutely in love with the K55, i really want one. i hate seeing the price tag after falling in love with the thing.
