exp's here are 14, but the non coated ones are 6, or 15 for 3 packs.. elixirs are only 15 here..that sucks for you bro..lolfilmdude100cms wrote:wow elixirs are $23 here. and a pack of D EXP's or EJ's are $15 or soDMBFan63 wrote:You're getting ripped off at 15 bucks a pack for d'addarios..I get a 3 pack for 15 bucks..filmdude100cms wrote:wow, everything ive heard and experianced is different. I used them a few times, was blown away by the sound, then it got duller and duller, so i got a new set, strung it up, once again, blown away. then duller and duller, so i got some other strings. Even the guys at the stores agree with me on this one, i mean, they said dont get the d'adarios ($15) get these, they sound better longer Martin SP's ($7) i plan on getting DR's soon though.
You also probably play a lot more then most people here.. I only play once or twice a day for maybe an hour total.. so my strings last me a long time.. granted, when I played for 5 hours a day when i started, i used elixirs, but now i don't need to spend 15 bucks for a pack of strings when they sound just as good as a 6 buck pack that lasts me long enough
I have a confession . . .

ha...at least its not canada... no, only joking. anyway, i like d'adderios for my bass...not that that matters much here. on acoustics, however, i like d'adderios tone, and i also like DRs...
