I know we all talk about the best high end guitars, and debate which brand is better. But, which lower brand guitar is better than the other brand (exclude alvarez, because we know they make good ones)
I would say De Armond, but they are gone now, so I would have to say I like Olympias

what price range are you talking about?
for the very bottom right around 100 dollars, i would go with jasmine, a subcompany of takamine..
very easy to play and decent sound for how much they cost.

I'm not a fan of Yamaha's. I was stupid enough to buy one a few year ago.
Corts are good guitars. That's my current beater and it plays damn well.

For low end I'd say Washburn. Mid-price ($400-$700) Takamine.

yeah seriously, i knew someone that bought the first guitar he was selling the one without the electronics and it was TERRIBLE, terrible quality
