M-Audio MobilePre for SALE!! (Great for laptop/PC recording)

Unread post by ElGuitarrista » Sat Sep 25, 2004 4:28 pm

Fellow DMBTabbers-

I'm selling a piece from my equipment line-up. As usual, my goal is to pass along a deal to a fellow forum member before selling to the masses at eBay.

(For those of you that don't know, I've sold two guitars on here- great deals to VERY happy buyers. Ask Ranting about his guitar- he talk about it for a while. I also sold a Taylor to BigSpeen- another great deal. I'm not looking to make money- just pass on some equipment to fellow musicians.)

So I'm selling my M-Audio MobilePre. You can read about it here:
http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/M ... -main.html

It is in like-new condition. Comes with the box, all cables, etc. Basically, it's a great device to get inputs into your computer. I used it for recording with Cool Edit on my laptop. It plugs into the USB port on your computer. You can plug your guitar and mic into the MobilePre, then record in Cool Edit as two simultaneous tracks. The MobilePre also acts as a preamp to boost your mic signals. Great for all you aspiring singer/songwriters out there. It's not tied to any software, so whatever you're using (Cool Edit, Protools, Cakewalk, etc), the MobilePre will work as your input interface.

I just 'upgraded' to a MUCH more expensive piece of equipment, hence, I won't be using this. It's in practically new condition. (I can take pictures if needed, but didn't bother since it's like-new and exactly as seen on the M-Audio website).

I'm selling it for $95 + $7 s&h. The item retails for $179 and sells for about $149 at places like Guitar Center, Sam Ash, and Musician's Friend.

Send me a personal message if interested. Keep the recordings coming over on the recording forum. I enjoy listening to them. I'm going to make an Ants recording soon!
