soon...maybe in a few..but prob tomorrow...the expression system is SO awesome...no feedback (virtualy eliminated)...and you have the plus of more wood for your buck as opposed to the huge hunk of fishman platic...I love it...I am however having some problems recording it to sound like it should...like it sounds outright...I might need to buy a NICE mic or two to get it down well...

Congratulations Fire! That is an awesome guitar. I have heard that the Expression System has a tendency to "overpower" some amps unless fed through a preamp 1st. I'm not really up on the electronic side of acoustics, but that is what the local Taylor rep told me. That may be what you are experiencing, so it may not be the mic.

Out of all the Taylors I have played, I like the 514ce the most....I played selections from the 300's, 400's, 500's, 700's and 800's, and I like the sound of the 514 most. How much for the 814?

depends totaly on the dealer...this was at a Grand Opening for a new store...I had some problems purchasing a 2002 Taylor 812ce from them...they sold it that day when they said it would be mine...so we worked a deal for this one...
