tele > boss tu2 tuner pedal > morley classic wah > boss ds1 dist > danelectro danecho > vintage gibson cab
it made a hissing noise when i ran it through the dan echo, and it changed when i messed with the speed dial on it
as i said, the quality with that company is hit or miss, and once i get rid of that thing im never touching this company again

You should try it alone through the amp. Maybe something fucks it up?crash_in_to_me wrote:tele > boss tu2 tuner pedal > morley classic wah > boss ds1 dist > danelectro danecho > vintage gibson cab

Also, why do you have a tuner pedal?

i think i tried everything already but i will give that a try
the tuner pedal is also a power supply so it can power 7 other pedals.. and its an absoultely excellent tuner, you can set it to mute when tuning and it has a bunch of different tunings on it.. very nice

I've known a few players that get a buzzing when using the Boss Tuner/power supply pedal with some other effects, namely the DS-1 distortion and crybaby wahs. They took the tuner/power supply out of the chain and it went away. One way to get rid of noise like buzzing or hissing is if your amp has an effects loop. If you dont go guitar-->effects-->amp, but rather go guitar-->amp-->effects loop out-->effects-->effects loop in, the noises may go away.
Also, about Danny's effects being hit or miss, you're damn straight on that one, not only Danelectro, but some other companies out there.
An example of that is that my Line 6 DL4 holds up like a tank, while one of my friends has gone through 3.

Yeah, that's why I love their pedals. My buddy just had problems. With one, one of the jacks came loose, and with another one of the footswitches fell inside the pedal. I think he just kept happening to get DL4s that were made incorrectly or something. The one he has now is lasting a long time though. Though as I type this it's probably smoking and sparking.TrippnBill686 wrote:Hmm, that's the complete opposite of what I've personally witnessed and heard/read about Line6 - they seem to be without a doubt the highest-quality effects on the market.

Thats interesting. But anyway, coming from someone who has both, if you are picking just 1, get the DL4 please, Boss just doesn't make as good a product, plain and simple. The line 6 does everything the DD6 does and has a little container the outputs small bags of potato chips, GG. With the expression pedal there really is no reason to get the DD6 unless you need a backup or want to delay your delay, which is tons of fun.TrippnBill686 wrote:Hmm, that's the complete opposite of what I've personally witnessed and heard/read about Line6 - they seem to be without a doubt the highest-quality effects on the market.GuitarGuy305 wrote:An example of that is that my Line 6 DL4 holds up like a tank, while one of my friends has gone through 3.
