i played one of the nicer alvarez guitars last night. it was pretty nice. abalone around the edges and nice inlays etc.. soundwise youd do better with a taylor or martin. same goes for how the fretboard feels.

alvarez's are beautiful sounding, beautiful looking, and beautiful looking guitars. don't overlook them.
