whats the best way to clean strings guys....
mine always loose their color pretty fast...
and for some reason and i feel more comfortable playing
shiny strings...hehe...any suggestions???

Technically, you should be cleaning your strings after each session to prolong their tone and life. I clean mine, but not that often, cause its just too easy to buy a new set for $6. I use Fast Fret - you can get it at any guitar shop. Just apply a coat of that, take the included cloth and just pinch each string while sliding all the way up and down. You'll see the dirt come off on the cloth - and man, you'd be suprised at how dirty your strings are, even if they look pretty clean.

Yea I can atest to that. I just strung up some D'Addarios Phosphor/Bronze Lights and after playing 3 days for about 3-4 hours cumulative each day my strings have green crap all over them from my fingers or something. I wash my hands before I play too. I think I might get the coated type next time... these are hard to slide with. My fingers get stuck on the strings sometimes.
