try "John Pearse" strings. i just put them on my guitar not long ago after experimenting with ALL the forementioned strings: deanmarkley blue, elixir, D'add exps, martins, etc... i've found that this one kills them all on tone. as for the strings' durability, i can't testify. but so far so good.

however JP strings are hard to find, look around, if you find em try em out.

*noob alert* *noob alert*

Uh yeah, Ima let the noob slip out for a moment. Whats the difference between mediums and lights?

And you guys say elixers are good, but I've never heard em. I'm due for a restring so I might try em. But first, how much are they, and do they have a good solo style sound?

I figured that the meds would be bigger. Whats the difference in the sound? Are meds more of a bass tone string?

the vaginal fluid they are secreting is the same composition of urine minus the uric acid and phosphorous. i learned that in 11th grade anatomy. btw, sometimes it does have a FAINT smell of Pizzle.

damn thats expensive for some strings

teego time (and anyone else thats never used elixirs), as for them being pricey, they might be, but they also last for a long time since they are coated strings, Id at least try them once if youve never used them, I really cant use anything else now after having tried them

i have a string query to add to this discussion. Do certain strings all for better alternate tunings? or can u get certain strings that can make your guitar sound like dave's baritone guitar. Perhaps i'm completely retarded in asking these questions so ridicule is welcome hahaha. but i was just wondering.

Try Music123.com or Musicians Friend I forogt which one it is but tyhey go for 12.99 there I know a dollar isnt much but it adds up if u buy 5-10 packs at a time like I do. I like Elixer Polyweb Mediums (for the Martin) and Lights (for the Taylor). When I grow some bigger balls I'll try the custom lights on the Taylor.

Mediums have a deeper bassier sound. Mediums suit very well with a Dred. Just got a great deal on Polyweb lights. 9.33 a pack at musiciansfriend.com It said 11.99 when I saw em but when I put em in the cart they were 9.33. Great deal I bought 10 and some other shit and got free shipping. Even though I just blew 200 bucks I dont feel like i wasted it.

I never pay more than 8 bucks on any strings. The EXP, Elixers, Dean Markleys, Blue Steel, DR, they are all 8 bucks or under here.
Yes, I am in a box
