went to nashville so you know theres going to be a lot of guitars there. the majority were gibson. i went to the country music hall of fame which had a lot of awesome vintage gibsons and a few martins. got some guitar pics there lol. went to a gibson guitar showcase and played some guitars before getting kicked out:
1) Hummingbird - pretty nice, not enough sound, could be tonally better
2) 12 string (unsure of model) - had maple sides, only 12 string there, it was ok. the fret work is better than my 12 string but the sound leaves something to be desired.
i also saw a guy playing an alvarez on the street. this only supports my opinions on gibson acoustics - when thinking about getting one, get a taylor instead. :D

Wrong answer. Should be:
"this only supports my opinions on gibson acoustics - when thinking about getting one, get a BADASS MARTIN instead. :D"

Did you go to Gruhn's guitars on Broadway street downtown? That is the place to go in Nashville to play guitars. They let you play strats that were played onstage by Hendrix!

How is the Country Music hall of fame? I finished college and left town when it was just being finished. That place looked frickin' huge.
