I like the polys its just easier to move around with and the tones a bit better.

I gave those an honest try, and I didnt like em. I didnt think their tone was as balanced as other strings, but what really turned me off was how fast they died. Those things lost their tone in half the time of either D'add or Martin strings.

I switched to uncoated D'addario Mediums (EJ-17s) a while ago, and I cant believe I ever played anything else. Light strings blow monkey balls.
